Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was one of the many sports stars to wish the world a happy birthday with an adorable family photo.

Fury and his wife, Paris, spent Christmas Eve on the sofa with their six children at Morecambe Palace.

And like many families around the world, the Furys all wore matching outfits.

The Fury clan of eight men were dressed in adorable snow pajamas with their names on them.

Drip dad Tyson had “Daddy Fury” written across his Christmas crest.

Proud mom Paris shared the snaps to her Instagram story with the accompanying caption: “Happy Birthday from the Furys.”

Fury wasn’t the only major sports star to get into the festive spirit on Christmas Eve.

Male and female athletes around the world also spread some Christmas cheer with their millions of followers on social media.

Football icon Lionel Messi – who lifted the World Cup less than a week ago – also took part in the event by posing as family.

Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, shared a photo of the two of them standing in front of a huge tree with their three children, with nearly 30 million followers.

A slew of Premier League stars past and present have also taken to Instagram to share warm shots of themselves with their loved ones.

Chelsea killer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took an adorable photo with his wife and two sons in front of a fancy-looking tree.

Liverpool hitman Darwin Nunez and his girlfriend Lorena Manas sent their Christmas wishes with a snapshot of themselves enjoying their canopy by their tree with their two children and dogs.

Alisson, Nunez’s Liverpool team mate, was the epitome of happiness in sweet pictures of himself with his young family in front of their twinkling tree.

Alisson’s Brazil teammate Ederson posted two photos of his family, one of which he proudly kissed his wife, Lace Morris, as they embraced their three children.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebecca released their festive glow with a photo of them cuddling in matching pajamas in front of a huge tree outside their home.

Manchester United stopper David De Gea and his wife Edurne Garcia donned Christmas jumpers as they lay on the floor with daughter Yanai.

De Gea’s former teammate Edinson Cavani grinned from ear to ear as he posed for a Christmas tree photo with partner Jocelyn Burghardt.

Former Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Timo Werner both went for photos in front of the tree as well, although the former’s photo had a stunning blurry mountain backdrop.

While it may be tempting for them to indulge in an extra plate of Christmas dinner and a cheeky drink, the Brim stars will have to watch their intake because most of them will be back in action on Boxing Day.
