The best Christmas movies on Netflix

At first glance, the Christmas movie selection on Netflix seems a little slim. There is no elf (eating spaghetti With a drink on top of HBO Max), Home Alone (Disney Plus rigged with booby traps) or Die Hard (yes, it’s a Christmas movie and… It’s streaming on Starz). While Netflix may not be able to gift every movie you grew up watching, the streaming service has some really good holiday movies you won’t want to miss, like the dazzlingly animated story of Klaus and the wonderfully musical Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey.

Aside from Christmas movies, Netflix has also packed the month of December with exciting new releases to light up your festive gathering. paying off Pinocchio by Guillermo Del ToroAnd the Glass Onion: Takes the mystery out of the cutleryand on December 25, Musical Matilda by Roald Dahl.

I first watched Klaus in 2022 and I couldn’t believe I had missed the hilarious and lighthearted tale. It introduces Jesper, a man forced to trade his comfortable life for one on a frozen island where no one meets him. The situation seems hopeless, but that changes after he meets a big-bearded cliff named Klaus. Bring your family and enjoy one of the best vacation options on Netflix.

Who killed Santa? Morderville Murder Mystery (2022)

Maya Rudolph and Jason Bateman improvise their way through a chilling case in this special episode of the Will Arnett-led crime comedy series Murderville (not a movie, but it’s 50 minutes long). As the title suggests, it begins with the sudden death of a big-bellied merry-maker (mutilated by a candy bar, tragic way to go). Arnett, Bateman, and Rudolph ensure the holiday laughs keep going.
