Strictly Kai Widdrington reveals his plans for a first Christmas with girlfriend Nadiya Bychkova

Strictly’s Kai Widdrington revealed he was “very out” ahead of his first birthday with fellow pro Nadja Pechkova during Lauren’s festivities on Sunday.

The professional dancer, 27, has been in a relationship with the Ukrainian beauty, 33, for 11 months and they moved in together over the summer.

‘It’s our first [Christmas] Together as a couple, which is very exciting,” he told host Lorraine Kelly.

“We’ll be at my dad’s in Southend – I hope we’ll have a big bunch of flowers like that!” He laughed after showing the couple a huge bouquet.

“And some gifts, which is very exciting.”

He went on to tell the host about the couple’s puppy Snoopy, who despite being only three months old had stumbled on size.

“It’s crazy,” Kai exclaimed.

The dancer joined the show along with his co-star in the Strictly Christmas Special and former Corrie actress Alexandra Mardell, 29.

It comes after Nadia and Kai looked more lovable than ever this week as they shared a slew of photos from their pre-Christmas staycation.

They took to Instagram on Thursday to give their followers insight into their stay at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.

Nadia looked stunning in a long white polo neck dress with a slit to show off her toned legs.

She added a pair of black knee-high boots and gold hoop earrings while holding Kai’s hand and a bouquet of roses in another shot.

Meanwhile, Kai cut a chic look in a navy blue pinstriped bodysuit, complete with a speckled purple tie.

They both shot wide and Kai wrapped his arm around Nadia’s waist, as they stood in front of a brightly decorated Christmas tree.

It comes after Nadia and Kay opened up about their relationship last month, with Nadia saying the pair “support” each other and enjoy “choreographing” together.

“We met when we strictly joined and became friends and then the magic happened,” she told ITV viewers.

Kay revealed details of their upcoming tour, Nadia and Kay Once Upon A Time, which will kick off in March 2023 with a UK tour.

He said, “There will be a lot of Latin dancing and Latin dancing, so we do a lot of what we’re good at.”

Nadia added: ‘This is the best thing, in our lives we are very busy so we get a chance to do what we love together. It’s always been my dream to tour and be the headliner, and it’s even more special because it’s both of us.

“We love dancing together, we feel when we dance together magic happens, it’s perfect.”
