Princess Eugenie was ‘honored’ to attend Kate’s Christmas party

Princess Eugenie shared a supportive post on social media about Kate Middleton’s Christmas Carol party, which was filmed in Westminster Abbey. The ceremony celebrated the life of Queen Elizabeth as well as “celebrating the joy that human connection can bring” by honoring people and organizations that have helped their local communities.

On Instagram, the princess posted a series of photos of herself attending Kate Middleton together at the Christmas party.

In her post, Eugenie shared pictures of herself and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, chatting with soldiers attending the service, and in another picture she was seen chatting with a little girl who was enjoying the festivities.

Other photos shared by the royal family were of the Princess of Wales next to a snow-covered Christmas tree covered in fairy lights, and Kate laughing as she spoke to the children at the event.

Eugenie wrote: “It has been an honor to celebrate the life of Her Majesty at Carol, Princess of Wales, together at Christmas.”

The ceremony was broadcast on ITV on Christmas Eve but was filmed on December 15, the same date that the second part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s controversial Netflix series premiered.

Royal fans on social media seemed to have mixed feelings about Princess Eugenie’s social media post, as the monarch made a number of appearances in the Harry and Meghan documentary.

One royal fan wrote: “Playing a visual role in a pantomime of Harry and Meghan on Netflix, doesn’t Eugenie see the inconsistency in her actions and words?”

One comment on the post also said: “We saw Sussex’s Netflix show condemning your grandmother’s legacy.”

However, a famous comment called Princess Eugenie “a work of the highest order” and said, “Why does she have to choose between her cousins? She can love them all.”

Eugenie is the only member of the royal family who has visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in public since they moved to California.

In the documentary, she appeared briefly in the final episode and the Sussexes also shared never-before-seen photos with the princess at a Halloween party in 2016.

A royal insider recently revealed that Eugenie has an “unbreakable relationship” with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The source said that Meghan and Eugenie are “kind of an unlikely couple, but they keep in touch” and added that they “remained friends and have remained friends.”

However, the source also claimed that Prince William is “disappointed with Harry for portraying him and the family in a sarcastic light” and said the series was a “thorn in the flesh” for the Prince of Wales.

In the controversial documentary series, Harry claims his brother yelled at him and yelled at him during a meeting to decide whether he should step down as a senior royal.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl of Vanity Fair believes Princess Eugenie will “be a source of comfort” for both William and Harry as tensions remain between the two.

She added that she felt both royal brothers had “learned something about each other’s lives” from their cousin, Eugenie, and said it could be “something of a relief” for both of them.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, the royal correspondent said: “Eugenie with her mother has managed to get a foot in every camp.

“I think, unlike the palace staff who had to put their share in one team or another, Eugenie managed to pull that line.”
