Over the past few years, he’s undergone an amazing weight transformation – dropping 10 stone.
And Chase’s Mark Labbett, better known as The Beast, was showing off the results of his hard work as he posed for an opening shot of The Christmas Gift on Saturday backstage at his home.
The skinny quiz genius, 57, tossed out one of his gifts – a board game version of Pointless, a rival of The Chase in the world of TV quizzes.

This comes after Mark showed off his incredible 10 stone weight loss during an appearance on Loose Women last month.
The TV personality showed off his slim frame in a purple T-shirt and jacket as he sat at the panel.
Mark, who went from a size 5xl to a 2xl, also revealed how he sheds the pounds, saying he’s “eating less and drinking more” and focusing on his health.

Amazed: Fans were shocked at his apparent weight loss in the snap when one commented: “Jesus, almost didn’t recognize you, really wrecked that weight loss”
He said he completely changed his diet due to battling diabetes and said that played a part in his weight loss.
I think my diabetes may have helped me because I eat a lot less. “I drink a lot of fluids,” he said of his weight loss.
“And taking care of a five-year-old during lockdown didn’t help. How many times he collapses in a heap! Plus I’m so busy these days.
This came after Mark shared a photo of himself shirtless and showing off his weight loss back in January.
He said in the caption that he went from a size 5xl to a 2xl, but said at the time that he “still had work to do” on his character.
He wrote in the caption: “chest 52 inches down from 5xl to 2xl still working on doing…..xl or bust :)”
Fans were quick to praise his incredible progress, with one writing in the comments: “That’s awesome Mark!”

The TV star said his estranged wife initially promised she would take care of, feed and walk the dog when they first got him.
“ It lasted about two weeks, he recalls, before you decided, ”Actually Mark, look at your belly–you need to work out!”
I would walk with him in the fields and he would take me places. I think it’s helped a lot, simply because I’m getting more active.”

He previously said on Loose Women that a friend advised him not to get a gastric band because of how he gets his calories from sugar, which is hard to digest.
Mark also credited his son with his weight loss, saying: “The main thing is to run after a hyperactive kid when the nurseries are closed.
I’m sure every woman knows that, how do you keep up? I’ve found at the end of the evening instead of going to the fridge for a late-night snack, all I can do is collapse into bed.
