Donna Air revealed that she fractured her spine in two places just before Christmas.
The actress, 43, took to Instagram on Thursday, sharing photos in a neck brace from the hospital, telling her followers her year “ended with a bang.”
Donna added that she was ‘stopped in her tracks’ by the injury but continued to thank her nearest and dearest for their support through difficult times.

She penned it after sharing her post with the caption: “Well, the year ended with a bang. Just when I thought this Christmas was going to be no strings attached — I managed to break my spine in two places.”

She told her Twitter fans that she tested positive for coronavirus at the end of March 2020, writing: ‘Hope everyone can stay strong and in relatively good spirits during the lockdown.
Just wanted to let you know I have mild flu like symptoms and started self isolating 18 days ago, took a test for some clarity and the results were positive for Covid19.
Fortunately, my symptoms improved soon after and my loved one showed no signs of the virus.
“I will continue to follow the government’s guidance and in the meantime, I am sending oodles of love to all of you, especially those on the front lines.”
Later that year in October, Donna said she believed her HIV infection had given her memory loss and “brain fog.”
